A number of our members volunteer for Brooksong Retreat and Cancer Support Centre in making flannel-backed quilts that are gifted to people living with cancer who reside seasonally or permanently in the Haliburton Highlands. This program is called "Warm Hugs from the Highlands". Contact Brooksong if you would like to volunteer.
